When HUNLAND Trade Kft. started trading cattle in Hungary in 1992, the owners could already boast upon the experience of three generations cattle traders in the Netherlands. The Hungarian enterprise, a real family business, started small scale and initially concentrated exclusively on purchasing and selling of cattle.

But HUNLAND developed quickly. Buying and selling living cattles (calves, cows, pregnant heifers, cattles for fattening and slaughtering), pigs and lambs as well as meat still is our main activity. But by now, the company also owns several farms in Hungary, with a total of some 12.000 to 14.000 calves and bulls. Apart from that, Hunland owns its own diary farm with 1000 dairy cows. The milk will be exported by our own company, the Milktrader Kft. The farms have a buffer f ...unction and guarantee that we are always able to fulfill the demands of our customers, if necessary from our own stock.

In connection with the trade of pigs and piglets, we closely cooperate with pig breeders who have business in Hungary.

Since 1996, HUNLAND has the disposal of its own logistics company. Thanks to that, we can offer our customers a door-to-door service, including the customs procedures.

As HUNLAND has an expanding number of branches in Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, the Netherlands and Greece, we dispose over an extensive network of support points for the benefit of our customers. Read more
